UNIX Social Club

We celebrate operating system diversity, disruptive engineering concepts, and collaborative development models that shaped the UNIX legacy — from Solaris to FreeBSD, from Debian GNU/Linux to macOS, from OpenBSD to Plan 9, MINIX or NetBSD… welcome to the club!

We are a diverse group of free software advocates & network architects, community organizers & system administrators, ascii artists & tech entrepreneurs, counter-culture enthusiasts & command-line users of all flavors. We love learning. We love sharing. We love building.

We have occasional meet-ups, hackathons & related activities in Dijon, France. Those in-person events are tiny by design, thus invite-only. However, we’re happy to meet fellow textmode rebels with good manners & an open-mind, so don’t be shy, and come chat eventually?
